Inserting a Background Video into Webflow Designer

Q: Step 3: Insert as Background Video

You can add a video as a background element in your Webflow layout by following the steps below.

Step 1: Select the Target Element

First, choose the element where the background video will be applied.

Open your project in Webflow Designer.
Click to select the element that will contain the background video.

Step 2: Open Video Options

Next, access the background video insertion option.

Locate the video in the Video Tab.
Click the three-dot (⋮) icon next to the video card.

This will open the video options popup.

Step 3: Insert as Background Video

Now apply the video as a background.

Click Insert Background Video from the popup menu.
The selected element will automatically receive the video as its background.
